Psychopedagogical Support Office
The Psychopedagogical Support Office (GAP) in Lisbon is a specialized technical unit in the fields of Psychology and Special Education. It was conceived as a Learning Support Center for the students of Mira Rio and Planalto Colleges, having formally started its activities in September 2022.
The purpose of GAP is to contribute to the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our students throughout their schooling, from daycare to IB, reinforcing the integral and personalized education project of the Colleges.
GAP aims to provide appropriate responses to the diversity of situations that may arise during students' educational journeys, so that, in close collaboration with the educational community, the appropriate means are identified and implemented to fully enhance and promote each student's abilities.
The active participation and availability of this multidisciplinary team in the daily life of the colleges were foreseen to detect circumstances that may hinder the learning process and the proper growth of the students, allowing intervention as early as possible.
